I move twice every year. Househunting in September: move #1, and in June once school ends, move everything into storage: move #2. This is move #2, hauling everything into storage. All evidence of my London life is divided in boxes now, moving sucks balls.

Tell me you’ve heard of NIKICIO of Singapore, because this is not a quick post to redeem myself from the tiny pause in updates, this is a post to pop open the bubbly and shoot rainbow fireworks at eachother. So you say their clothes are ‘simple’ and all that, so why all the hype? By now you all know I’m a cheap bastard, and I won’t ask for your precious attention if the prices are way too high. So for example, the zipper pants in the last picture is, wait for it, cuppa tea, drumroll, $30! That maxi dress and kitty clutch are calling my name, I’d love to carry a real kitty in there but that’s just me. I love the brand’s attitude and concept: “clothes that outlast trends, and are cohesive or sensible“. I hear the quality is fantabulous too.

I’m so missing out. Their webshop is coming soon. On behalf of most of my readers I would like to say hurry up pretty please. In the meantime, you may as well quickly befriend someone in Indonesia, but remember not to say out front that you’re taking advantage of her/him, be nice at first, then be demanding. ;)

If someone could explain why the weather is acting like a spoilt brat these few days I may today sleep with my toes uncurled. Well literally. It’s probably morally wrong to write this sentence, but I’ll write it anyway because since when do I have morals?: It’s freezing cold, even inside a bed. The last time I checked it was June, am I correct? I’ve been sleeping with a thick hoodie on and that’s saying a lot to someone who usually sleeps naked.

I can’t wait to be more experimental with the boots, although I think they’re the perfect upgrade to a half-arsed comfortable outfit like this one. I got the vintage camerabag over a year ago with a Praktica Nova SLR and a few lenses, all for £5. I may want to extend the straps if I had any idea how to go about doing that. Anyway, can one describe bags as comfortable? because this one is, everything is so accessible – I never knew I could find my housekeys under 3 seconds without causing a storm. Well, too bad it’s just a fancy box.

I don’t really sleep naked. I wear socks at least, duh.

The colour of the top reminded me of some pieces from Alexander Wang’s SS09 collection; I convinced myself that I’ve never ever owned a colour like that in my entire life. I know, dramatic, at least that seemed like a reasonable excuse at the time. Also looks like I need to sell another pair of shoes just to justify keeping the lurrvley feet mummifiers. I’m thinking of selling my Emma Cooks this time, it is now damn clear that I’m not a size 5. Now, I could sell it on ebay for a ridiculous sum and be a happy bunny for a while until the ebay fees come out… or I can make someone else happy by selling it for £140. Anyone? UK Size 5, like new, comes in original box, carecard and dustbag. If you miss it now you’ll be the one finding my ridonkulous ebay listing a few months down the road and then you’ll probably have to sob into a tub of icecream from all the regret.

I’ll be closing down the shop from the 23rd of June till late September 2009 as I’ll be separated from my stuff when I return back home to Warsaw. Unfortuantely I do not own a donkey on which I can load my merchandise and travel the world to sell goods at an empty street corner nearby you. All transactions must be concluded by the 22nd, so I can send out anything on the 23rd! Hm, I may be updating the shop from Warsaw, who knows.
