I've moved on...
...to a different domain. Why, what were you thinking? The truth is, I just woke up one day and decided it's time for a changeā€”a metamorphosis, if you will; or, in layman's terms, if Britney can shave her head, then maybe so can I? Nevertheless, it's been a rather handsome 10 years of talking to you, and thank you for putting up with all my moodswings and terrible dad jokes. Fear not! The hormonal imbalance and jokes are more terrible on CUBICLE, see you there.

That’s how you cut stuff.
If you have any problems using scissors don’t hesitate to shoot an email and I’ll take you through the whole process – which fingers to put through the holes, how to do the up and down motion. It’s alright, others get it around age 5 but don’t feel embarassed to ask, I’ll be friendly.

Not sure why I photographed the process, and I promise I don’t think my readers are idiots – I just thought it’d be a waste to throw the photos away. So there you are, the easiest DIY you’ll ever see. Maybe I’ll do How to glue tutorial next time.

This is my third day in Belek and so far I’m thoroughly enjoying the amazing weather, friendly people and delicious food. We’ve had to move hotels because the first one looked like summercamp, but now we’re settled and milking the current hotel of all its supplies and services. Like today, I was wading through the hotel pool and out of nowhere a water aerobics class started around me and I ended up having to do splits under water.

Oh and Alis you’re right, the seawater is so salty – I thought I was getting pickled swimming in it yesterday.

Last minute packing for Turkey as we’re leaving in less than 3 hours. I know will severely regret not getting some sleep because I am close to 100% sure that there will be a devil child on the plane wailing right until the moment we land. When I have a child and if it cries in an airplane I will be so considerate as to check it in with the rest of the luggage before boarding – plane’s happy, mummy’s happy, everyone’s happy!

I found my mother’s ring stash, very satisfied with stock.

Aand finally, last minute DIY to wear on the beach (similar DIY Tutorial here), I realised my bikini bottom will not do half a decent job of covering the junk in the trunk so I had to think of an alternative.

Hope you’re having a good weekend!

DIY Studded top: Revamp a plain corset-top!

:

Blouse GossamerWingsStudio | Corset Morgan

Just a quick one today. I forgot that when you come back home mum knocks off a couple of years off your age and you’re suddenly 13 years old, getting scolded for not being home before 7pm. I was driving a car when I got that text message from her. Yes mum, I’ll come straight home, it’s a dangerous world out there, someone might mug my windshield wipers on my way back. Ah CLOWN MONSTER IN THE BACK SEAT!

Revamped an old corset from Morgan. It was bedazzled before, but I thought I could use the bling somewhere else so I detatched everything and studded it. Nothing special. Next step is to grow boobage to hold the damn thing up – will not help the fact that my body age (chesticular, in particular) (hey that rhymes!) is 13 now.

Took a train down to Portsmouth with Ellen to visit the D-Day museum and spend a day at the beach. The weather was a bit too chilly to relax on the pebbles but we did windsurf on the boardwalk. The wind literally pushed us down the far side of the beach where we had to refuel ourselves with cotton candy and icecream to propel back against the monster. I must say, something about cotton candy makes you feel like you have an extra limb and wheels on your toes, or was that just us high on sugar.

British seaside is so lovable, the colours and the smell… feels so good taking a break from the city.
