I've moved on...
...to a different domain. Why, what were you thinking? The truth is, I just woke up one day and decided it's time for a change—a metamorphosis, if you will; or, in layman's terms, if Britney can shave her head, then maybe so can I? Nevertheless, it's been a rather handsome 10 years of talking to you, and thank you for putting up with all my moodswings and terrible dad jokes. Fear not! The hormonal imbalance and jokes are more terrible on CUBICLE, see you there.

Maxi Dress, Leather Jacket – ASOS, Shoes – Office.co.uk, BagBelt – Angels’ Sale, Eagle Belt – Vintage, Faux Lambswool – Gmarket, Scarf – FCUK, Turquoise Ring – Spitafields Market

I’ll write more about the Angels sale soon, but this leather pocket-belt thing is one of the few gems I ran off with! On day 5 a PR came up to me and asked where it was from, and when I told her it was vintage military costume and that it still had dirt in the pockets and she actually yelled THAT IS SO COOL, DIRT FROM A REAL WAR!! No no no no, dirt from some movie set. Perfect pockets for spare batteries and memory cards… although it’s still kind of like burying them in soil.

  1. Funny LOL.
I’m guessing the leather pouch-belt were used in the second world war films/tv series long long long time ago. Loved the dis-stress look though :)

  2. First off: I happen to think you look all mysterious and gorgeous in the second row pictures. And ahhh the shoes match the leather belt so perfectly! I would’ve prolly yelled that same phrase too, to be honest. Not only is it amazing, but a unique way to store things. Also, I feel like I should be playing the Indiana Jones theme song right about now…

  3. Great :-) I love your style and taste!

  4. I agree with Charlene. You do look so mysterious in the second row of photos . . . The leather pouch belt is pretty incredible.

  5. Oh goodness, that belt is entirely amazing. You are so lucky to pick up good things from Angels!

  6. wow, that really is ridiculously rad. say THAT three times fast.

  7. i actually laughed out loud when i read “it’s still kind of like burying them in soil.”
hopefully the memory card are safe in cases :)

  10. I love it!

  11. that really is SO COOL. it is like an 18th century russian peasant refugee version of the batman utility belt. you should store a string of paperclips in one of the pockets and throw it at enemies at bay.

  12. wow this is fantastic!!

  13. Yoshi

Haha wow! That’s amazing! Not sure that the burying things in soil part is so amazing, but it is definitely a handy accessory.

  14. Heart this! That bag/bwlt thingy looks amazing!

  15. HAHA I love that reaction! I was just going to say that pocket belt is Indiana Jones-esque! Much better than a fanny pack!!!!! If only I had one of those when I traveled to Europe. and if only these sales happened in America as well!!

  16. your belt is perfection, love the distressed look of it.

  18. oooh! which maxi dress is this?? the tank one or the tube one? i have both “saved for later” but i like the way yours drapes. and if you don’t mind my asking, what size did you get (i’m not familiar with uk sizing)?
