I've moved on...
...to a different domain. Why, what were you thinking? The truth is, I just woke up one day and decided it's time for a change—a metamorphosis, if you will; or, in layman's terms, if Britney can shave her head, then maybe so can I? Nevertheless, it's been a rather handsome 10 years of talking to you, and thank you for putting up with all my moodswings and terrible dad jokes. Fear not! The hormonal imbalance and jokes are more terrible on CUBICLE, see you there.

I might’ve mentioned sometime in the past that if you don’t hear from me in 5 days you might as well call the nearest morgue and check up on a recently deceased fashion blogger, shoe size 5.8 being the key information to provide for identification. Actually speaking of sizes, it must’ve taken about 15 pairs for me to realise I’m not really a size 5.5 or a 6.
Feels like all I’ve done lately is to find out every personal numbers I memorized had been wrong – bra size, eyesight digits, age… (Realised I’d been telling everyone I was 23 long before I’d even turned 23) Just over a week ago I was invited to preview the new Curve ID collection by Levi’s Jeans and to try out their revolutionary measuring technique. This gangly robot wrapped its tentacles around my shivering naked body and calculated how much of a muffin my butt area was. I kid. A harmless tape measurer-thing determined if I was a Slight Curve, Demi Curve or a Bold Curve, and because I have a wishy-washy butt I was determined a Demi Curve. So turns out I’ve been wearing my jeans too big, go me. The jeans hugged my bottom half so nicely I burst out into rainbow tears.

I moved across town – is the excuse for 10-day-long silence, prepare for post-avalanche!

  1. amazing pictures I love your shirt

  2. CUTE JEANS! i love the measuring technique.

  3. it seems like levi’s is really doing all the promotion thing with their new curve ID products.. they promote these jeans EVERYWHERE in indonesia.. and i mean EVERYWHERE..
levi’s here are quite expensive that most people sometimes would rather skip to a higher end semi-designer jeans instead..

hope you’ll come up with a new post soon :)

  4. Oh, jeeze. I will surely be a Bold Curve. Thanks, Mom.

(Slightly loose or not, your jeans always look awesome. Wait. Do you ever really wear jeans?)
(Also: Where can you find a 5.8 shoe??)

  5. I’d love to try out this measuring technology…though I’m afraid I may confuse the robot thing. I’ve been described as “unproportionate skinny”. o_O Fat butt, skinny legs, I suppose. I LOVE YOUR OUTFIT.

  6. cool!…looks like fun:)..and sounds interesting. lol. I like the jeans, but I really love the shirt!

  7. dang those jeans look like they could not fit ya any better! and i am always doing that too, saying my wrong age, forgetting my shoe size… ahh sometimes i wonder am i already an old lady? and then i almost tell someone i’m 18, which is weird, since that was 4 years ago..

  8. lovely, I’m so happy for you! the jeans really suit you :)) think I’m gonna have to get one of these aswell!

  12. Wow, you look and so does your bum. Huzzah!
Now if only they would create jeans that did the opposite for men; magical-man-birth-baring-thighs-destroyer jeans!

  13. lovely shots!

  14. I’m still yet to try these jeans, but from what I keep reading and hearing, it sounds like I should! They look fantastic on you x

  17. Lovely! Those jeans look perfect on you!
Love the shirts and boots too!

  18. Hmm, I was rather sceptic when I first saw their new measuring system, but those jeans do seem to fit you like a glove… Also loving your rainbow-coloured nails!

  19. The jeans look great on you! I find it so hard to find the right size shoe – I’m a 5.5, but most places stare at me blankly and say “we don’t do half sizes.” Well, why not?! So I end up having to get a size too big or too small, sad times! How on earth are you going to find 5.8s?!

  20. Bah I dunno, I guess I’ll have to settle with a 0.3 thickness socks or go on a feet diet or something! ;)

  21. those jeans look awesome on you kit. i love the shape and the dark wash. hope the move went well. can’t wait to see you soon. xx

  22. omg you called me kit, forgot my name already huh JILL!?

  23. You look fab in those jeans, Shini!

  24. Love the pictures, and the brown boots!!! They’re awsome!!!

  25. Rainbow tears! How beautiful.

You know I didn’t get it whenever people talked about jeans being a ‘great cut’ or ‘flattering to a woman’s shape.” but maybe that’s cause I only tend to buy jeans every 4 years and they’re usually straight leg or skinny Gap. These look gorgeous on you! That shot of you in the mirror, that’s such a great look. I’ve just realised I don’t normally see you in jeans: you really do have a magic stylistic touch. xx

  26. Nice booootay!

I really really want to try this out. All the jeans I buy never fit my bottom right. Jeans and me just do not fit like a hand in glove.

  27. Rainbow butt, rainbow tears, mwahaha, you are hilarious!

Those are one fine pair of jeans lady and that is one sweet outfit. I love the shirt and top combo and those boots are very Chole 2008.

  40. Those are nice photos! Since you are a fan of the jeans, thought you’d be interested in this info. Director Scott Compton and a very talented crew shot five, short documentaries for Federated Media and Levi’s Curve ID jeans. The first mini doc is about fashion blogger Liz Stanley of Say Yes to Hoboken blog. http://ow.ly/96fEL We’d appreciate it, if you have time to check it out!
