I've moved on...
...to a different domain. Why, what were you thinking? The truth is, I just woke up one day and decided it's time for a change—a metamorphosis, if you will; or, in layman's terms, if Britney can shave her head, then maybe so can I? Nevertheless, it's been a rather handsome 10 years of talking to you, and thank you for putting up with all my moodswings and terrible dad jokes. Fear not! The hormonal imbalance and jokes are more terrible on CUBICLE, see you there.

Oatmeal sweater for cycling adventures

There’s that one sweater that goes with absolutely everything. I was contemplating the pink version of this at ASOS but decided I just might not be coherent enough in the morning to even consider making pink work.

Favourites from the DIY box

By the time I’m done with those friendship bracelets that ship may have sailed… Time to call it vintage then?

The mood rail

I like to keep a few key pieces for the season separate so in the confusion of learning my name anew while scoffing down breakfast and slapping makeup on in the morning things would simply be easier.

Twigs and bars

Favourite pieces of the moment: Young Frankk 3-bar necklace & Twig Solitaire ring by Michelle Oh

Sheer Aztec dress from ASOS

Fell in love with the fact that it’sheer enough to see every single goosebump during the colder seasons. Pair it with a smart pea-coat and you got a whole new man attracting/repelling phenomenon right there.

Rose Contour & glitter kicks

Head over heels for this photoshop-in-a-box bronzing kit by Chanel (4 Facettes Bronzing Powder) & Kate Kanzier glitter shoes that strangely remind me of classic Ferragamos.

5-a-day and manuka honey

It’s been the best thing to cycle home to after a long day at work – lemon tea with water just hot enough to prevent boiling off the vitamins, with a bag of English Breakfast tea and a tablespoon of manuka honey.

Winter Skincare

Clinique All About Eyes Serum Probably more attracted to the feeling of a wet metal ball gliding over my eyes… yah, that didn’t sound creepy at all.
Kiehl’s Avocado Eye Cream Tub of magic, I call it – costs £30 but lasts months and months.
Lancome Genifique serum Two pumps after cleansing and toning, sets the skin for the next layer.
Vichy Nutrologie 2 I reserve this only for the colder seasons; the creamy texture is perfect for dry & sensitive skin types like mine.
Biotherm Skinergetic Nightcream – I only started using this a week ago but so far absolutely satisfied with waking up with dewy skin.
Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil Literally just melts off makeup and cleanses while depositing essential oils.
I’m rather obsessed with the smell of Sassoon Halo Hydrate Leave-in conditioner spray…
Sandy Bay White Tea Candle – smells like blisssss. That is all.
Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Been adding a drop of this with my body lotion every now and then and it leaves this really refreshing feeling like just coming out of a spa. The smell is divine too.
I’ve been increasingly paranoid about the skin on my hands so I always apply FC5 Hand Creme after washing dishes.
Recovery Balm by Monu for stressed skin (stressed thinking of dinner ideas for the hubby, pork chop or pork stew!?)

  8. I’m the same way about the friendship bracelets, I’ve bought so much thread but haven’t gotten around to making enough of them, so I might just have to call them vintage, too. Those glitter kicks are darling, and loving your beauty collection. x

  10. The photos are simply amazing! I love your apartment, Chanel blush and the lovely sweater from the first picture! Now, when I look at this I see it in a ver minimal styling, but probably you’re gonna amaze me by wearing in in a totally extraordinary way, just like always. :))

  11. 11. Pork stew. Always!

Winter is upon us here in western Canada which means, my skin hates me. All day. Everyday. Urgh, time to revamp the skin routine again…

  16. Lovely photos!! I love reading your little comments, and you’ve definitely inspired me… I want to make friendship bracelets and have a mood rail too x

  17. I’ve been meaning to make friendship bracelets as well, but never get the chance! I guess it’s no matter though because I just want them for myself anyway… haha

  18. Pretty sweater!

omg omg omg! The jumper is just wow!

  20. I think the idea of a “mood” rail is great, although I think my other half would kill me if my clothes started creeping out of the wardrobe and taking over the bedroom. Do you carry on cycling throughout the winter? Very intrepid if you do, keep well wrapped up!

  21. I love that pullover! It’s got such a nice colour.
    Have a nice day :)

  25. oh man, that sweater looks delightfully cozy. i’ve just become interested in skincare in the past year, and i’m so curious to check out some of those products. what exactly do you find that the kiehl’s eye cream does for you?

  26. Such beautiful pieces!

  27. Oh my gosh, those glitter shoes! Gorgeous!

  28. The oatmeal knit looks so cosy, but the pink version is also cute, as well as the baby blue one (yeaaah, that is why I love and at the same time hate when they have different colours of the same garment in stock). And friendship bracelets… My favourite was the fish zigzag, I used to make tons of them when I was like 10 years old.

  29. Thank you for the lovely snippet post! It’s nice to see little snippets of your life– your sweater looks really comfy and making friendship bracelets is a lot of fun (I actually find them a bit of a stress reliever.) Hope that you’ve been having a good weekend!

  30. oooh! how i love that first sweater, subtle and pretty. funky and cool!

  35. I hope you don’t mind….but I think I need to purchase those amazing shoes!!!!!
I am also loving the fact that you put “key pieces” somewhere separate. Creating a decent outfit each morning is such a struggle…and my “key pieces” tend to be either in the washing basket, fallen at the back of my wardrobe, or still in the bag I bough them in. Love this post :D X

  36. HAH that’s what happened to my stuff too! I use this IKEA shelf thing that doesn’t have a back so months later I ‘accidentally’ discover new stuff behind the shelf…. it was time to get some new organization scheme haha x

  37. This type of post is so appealing (looks like the pages of a classy magazine). I love the idea of a mood rail to keep out key pieces…so good.

  38. […] that would’ve banished every piece but a pair of grey skinnies and black stilettos from my mood-rail for the rest of the season… They kindly lent a coat and scarf for the night as I’d […]

  39. god i love your photos. that sheer dress and glitter flats :)
