I've moved on...
...to a different domain. Why, what were you thinking? The truth is, I just woke up one day and decided it's time for a change—a metamorphosis, if you will; or, in layman's terms, if Britney can shave her head, then maybe so can I? Nevertheless, it's been a rather handsome 10 years of talking to you, and thank you for putting up with all my moodswings and terrible dad jokes. Fear not! The hormonal imbalance and jokes are more terrible on CUBICLE, see you there.

Yeah before you start with the leggings with shorts thing, I’m just gonna say that I’m not so fond of flashing  skin and handing out lust on a plate so I guess I’ll have to be arrested by the fashion police (among you who would like to play police? I like fluffy handcuffs) and go hang out with leggings-as-pants ladies in jail. Will you visit or write?
It’s hard for me too – as much as I want to admit that I’m not, I am in fact a slave of trends, and miniskirts and hotpants do make my football legs look longer and leaner… and if you can believe it, I also feel hot in the summer! This is not to justify the mediocre outfit I’m posting now, but since the weather in the UK seems to be back full throttle and all, I thought I might give a bit of heads up for a long summer with no breath of fresh air in terms of outfits. Go on, press ‘next’, fresh air is not far!

Thank you Ellen muchissimo for the photos!

I was browsing through the stack of bloggable files just now and found these photos I’d done with Susan IN FEBRUARY. Why am I posting these in May, and not waiting a few months until the season becomes more relevant? I thought it was rather ironic – these photos were done after a deadly all-nighter for yet another deadline (Feb 8), and can you see, the exhaustion and fatigue is so tattooed in the entire mood and I thought SO accurately represented what I felt yesterday after that final hand-in. To think that was my last ever hand-in as a BA student. I won’t miss it much, to be frank.

Please consider this winter post a parting gift to the wretched cold season I would not like to see again until November at the earliest.

And who’d have thought that the bush I stuck my head in was full of spiders?

Well, as part of mandatory health & safety precautions – bit like how the bodyguard tastes the wine for poison – my photographer (aka le sweet-sweet manfriend with a disposable camera) stuck his head in the bush first. He told me later that he got home and pulled out spiders from his hair, despite the one we shook off after doing the photos. Whose genius idea was it? I don’t know, don’t look at me.

Just a quickie before I nap into oblivion and accidentally wake up next morning; this was outfit for day 4! Alrighty, bed is calling and I don’t want it to switch onto voicemail, goodni..day.

Hi, I happen to enjoy being dressed like Thomas the Tank Engine [THANKS KIT] (complete with rail tracks and diamond fences) and possess a generic Asian face, thank you.

Disgruntled blogger says wussup punk. I guess having this 20 20 hindsight on the humiliating behaviour during LFW by certain fashion bloggers and learning about shockingly judgmental thinking behind streetstyle photographers is not helping the mood here. I remember when these photographs were taken I was in absolute bliss and gleefully basking in the LFW creative energy… I’ll explain the fuming later, but you can start by reading this article by Robin Scott of The Global Herald.

(Thank you Kit for taking these pictures1; the shoe shot I stole from her blog, as you can probably tell)
