I've moved on...
...to a different domain. Why, what were you thinking? The truth is, I just woke up one day and decided it's time for a change—a metamorphosis, if you will; or, in layman's terms, if Britney can shave her head, then maybe so can I? Nevertheless, it's been a rather handsome 10 years of talking to you, and thank you for putting up with all my moodswings and terrible dad jokes. Fear not! The hormonal imbalance and jokes are more terrible on CUBICLE, see you there.

Tossing spider carcasses and toad fingers into steaming cauldron for new blog layout. cackle.

I just realised something. If we didn’t have blogs of our own we probably wouldn’t leave nice comments.

  1. New layout excite me.

That’s probably a true realization, although sometimes you really do just see something so amazing that you just have to comment.

  2. for some people that may apply. but to me, if i have nothing good to say then i’ll just shut my pie hole. i don’t comment to get commented back. that’s just how i roll. hihi..
excited to see the new layout.

  3. Well I used to comment sometimes when I didn’t have a blog. I think I still would on a blog like yours :)

  4. hahaha I comment evil stuff sometimes when I really hate something. Some finnish blogs are super shit but not to mean just for the sake of it.

  5. i think of commenting on blogs as more of a conversation about fashion. otherwise we’re all just blogging into some vague impersonal internet void.

I agree with you, and I’m guilty of it myself. But how about this…I have a blog, but I won’t link to it here. Instead, I’ll just say…

This blog rocks! You’re witty, talented, and unpretentious. There! A nice comment without any reciprocal comment required.

  7. actually i left nice comments before i even have a blog! i just really like reading blogs!
    =)

  8. Haha, I think that’s just how the blogging world works. Kind of sad, but true. In my opinion though, I think it’s pretty easy sometimes to tell who leaves genuine comments and who is just looking for a link exchange. :P

  9. honey, i would still leave u nice comments. i can’t find anything negative to say. jin jja ro! =)
and yes, i’d love to be ur new BFF haha

  10. i can’t wait for the new layout, you are so talented. Can’t wait to see it.

    victoria,

  11. ye,kind of

  12. But luckily we do have blogs of our own!

  13. oddly enough, bf was just commenting last night on how much he liked your layout. oh, we’d still comment nicely. not many have the guts to be mean (truthful).

  14. i definitely comment more now that i have my own blog, but that’s because i realise how much comments actually mean as opposed to just reading.
all the comments i used to make were nice, anyway.
and the ones coming your way are sincere!

  15. i know what you mean. my biggest commenting peeve is when they’ll just put ‘cute pictures’. you can just tell they havent read a single word…
    mxx

  16. I think it would be less comments, yes, but I know I wouldn’t stop posting nice comments even though I stopped blogging myself.
    (I really love these pictures)

  17. I haven’t really read a lot of blogs, until I had one on my own. When I have something to say (and that isn’t always somthing nice xDD), I just do it – not in the hope of getting recommented, although I like to read comments on my blog. It’s just good to know, what your readers think about your stuff you’re writing about :>

  18. I like the current layout. But i’m exciting too see theone you’re working on…
    And yea… If I didn’t have a blog,I wouldn’t leave nice comments!And that’s super sad!

  19. i totally have the same impression than you when i get really impersonnal comments

  20. i’ve thought about that before. case in point: you need a blogging account of some sort (usually) to comment on someone’s blog. and the only people that read blogs are bloggers, not “real” people (not that bloggers aren’t real). except for blogs like perez hilton, which “real” people read.

anyway, enough of my rant. i really enjoy these photos.

  21. You’re absolutely right ! I began to leave comments on blogs I like only when I begin my own blog. You know, before I felt as if I was “uninvited” because I wasn’t part of the club. Now I know it was so stupid but what do you want… Actually I used to make many stupid things before my blog, and I guess I’am going on, but in a different way ^^

  22. I would leave you nice comments anyways…
cuz you are an amazing blogger and have and amazing style!

    kisses :D

  23. i used to leave cm before i had a blog too and still cm and love the whole communication and info swapping we get to do :) x
