I've moved on...
...to a different domain. Why, what were you thinking? The truth is, I just woke up one day and decided it's time for a change—a metamorphosis, if you will; or, in layman's terms, if Britney can shave her head, then maybe so can I? Nevertheless, it's been a rather handsome 10 years of talking to you, and thank you for putting up with all my moodswings and terrible dad jokes. Fear not! The hormonal imbalance and jokes are more terrible on CUBICLE, see you there.

It’s really comforting to know that while the other side of the world is raising the roof with fabtastic (ick word) glam (ICK) parties and exclusive fashion affairs, I can pull out my favourite granny sweater and some gold pumps and head out for church and tea with friends.
At this pace once the offsprings start popping out this place will quickly mellow into a mommy blog and you’ll start hearing about how I discipline my children with a newspaper roll and that February is the month for vaccines. Hopefully by then the era of affluent, celebrity bloggers will have been a chapter long chewed off by my teething kiddies! Ah just wishful thinking – it’s just so comforting not to want to live in someone else’s shoes, or stilettos what have you. Actually I was listening to ‘Part of Your World‘ from Little Mermaid the other day (routine Disney fix) and that bit where Ariel goes I have this this and that… but I want more reminded me of this whole blogger popularity issue – you just can never have enough even if you’re blessed with so much. Maybe I need to start devising an exit plan – but not one that looks like an infant, not yet at least. Unless it’s a dolphin infant…

Thank you Leonie & Ellen for the photos!

I’ve had this post draft open by my bedside for about 30 hours – I have the flu equivalent of a death sentence in the 17th Century, or at least that’s what I like telling everyone around me to evoke sympathy and donations. (Le boyfriend keeps asking if he can have my DVD collection once I die) But when you’re 1) horizontal in bed and 2) 39 degrees and steamin’ from the ears, coherent sentences don’t come together, especially not for a blog entry. As I was drifting in and out of sleep the photos above started to merge into one dream and in a state of semi-high I somehow managed to relive this day trip I took to Oxford visiting Jen with Jill and Kit. Of course, this being a dream the trees were broccoli and Harry Potter was frolicking in the field with the cows (bits of HP were shot in Oxford)… but what an awesome way to re-experience a wonderful day in a beautiful city.

BTW, remember to get your annual flu shot, because as cool as it sounds to stay in bed the whole day and pick your own dream subject (should’ve watched Avatar…) to feel like you’re going to DIE is not very pleasant.

Shots of moi by Jen, thank you!

Always wanted to try this double-waist thing since I saw it somewhere during one of the fashion weeks (wow, can one get any more vague?). Trouble was finding a pair of trousers tight enough that could fit under a loose pair, and both with a belt-line. These two half met the criteria, so the whole day I felt like I was wearing an oversized diaper…

I’m planning a redesign for the blog, would anyone mind? (Accessibility issues and such…)

This is Lieutenant Colonel of the Bed & Duvet regiment speaking; should you want to enlist in my fine army, you must wear your Pajamas out on a sunny day and swear to fight valiantly with me under the IKEA bedsheet banner against all evil! RAAAArrr

(Sorry, I’m really too tired now to knock on good ol’ clear mind’s door, for now looks like it’s locked very tightly shut…)

The blog was starting to look like an essay blog, huh. Sorry about the last post, I promise I’m usually a very forgiving, cheery person! :D I just don’t like when people challenge my knowledge in my own damn profession. I know my shizzle, that’s why I get paid for it.

Beautiful weather in London today btw, looks like spring is finally coming around.

(Check out The Hat Company ebay store for high quality bowler hats by Christie’s. Handmade with beautiful lining, and at £25, so affordable.)
