The truth is, I just woke up one day and decided it's time for a change—a metamorphosis, if you will; or, in layman's terms, if Britney can shave her head, then maybe so can I? Nevertheless, it's been a rather handsome 10 years of talking to you, and thank you for putting up with all my moodswings and terrible dad jokes. Fear not! The Enchanting Tree contest

  1. Open to UK residents aged 25 or over, except employees of Pernod Ricard UK and their immediate families, their agents or anyone professionally associated with this promotion.
  2. No purchase is necessary to enter. Internet access is required. This promotion is running on other blogs. No entrant may win more than one prize during the “Perrier Jouët: The Enchanting Tree” Promotion Period, across all of the Perrier Jouët: The Enchanting Tree promotions.
  3. Promotion Dates: [00.01] on 27 March 2013 and 23.59 on 17 April 2013
  4. To enter: During the Promotion Period, take a photograph using Instagram and upload it, using the hashtags “#myalluringchampagne”, “#theenchantingtree” and #ParknCube in the image caption field.
    1. Your photograph should be a staged shot of [you/ you and a bottle of Perrier-Jouët (Grand Brut, Blason rosé, Belle Epoque, Belle Epoque Rosé, Belle Epoque Blanc de Blancs) Your entry will be judged against the criteria set out in clause 7.
  5. Prizes:
    1. Main Prize: 1 x Perrier-Jouët Enchanting Tree as created by Tord Boontje (and as shown at www.perrier-jouet.com/the-enchanting-tree]; and 1 x 75cl bottle of Belle Epoque.
    2. Runners’ Up Prize: 2 x sets of 6 Perrier-Jouët champagne flutes.
      In the event of unforeseen circumstances the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for an alternative of equal or greater value. Prize is not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  6. Instagram requirements: You must have your Instagram account set to ‘public’ for your photograph to enter the promotion. If your account is set to ‘private’, your entry will not be submitted into the competition. You will have to re-upload and re-tag your photograph if you make your account public after posting your entry. Each hashtag must be entered and spelled correctly or your entry will not be valid.
  7. Judging Criteria: All entries will be judged on the following criteria: (1) the enchanting moment as depicted in the photograph; (2) composition of the photograph; (3) the elegance of the photograph; and (4) the extent to which the photograph reflects the brand image.
  8. Winner Selection: The winner and runners-up will be the three entrants who submit the photographs which receive the three highest scores when judged against the criteria in clause 5. There will be at least one judge who is independent of the Promoter.
  9. Winner notification: Winners will be notified on 22 April 2013 by way of a comment on their image. The winners must follow the steps set out in the comment and confirm that they accept these terms and conditions. Winners who fail to supply all requested information within 14 days of winner notification will be disqualified and the prize awarded to a reserve entrant selected in the same manner.
  10. Winner announcement: Once the winners have confirmed acceptance of the prizes the winning photographs will be published on Perrier-Jouët’s social media sites (Facebook, twitter, Pinterest, Google+, at the #myalluringchampagne Facebook tab and on Perrier-Jouët’s Instagram account). By accepting the prize the winners consent to this.
  11. No bulk, third party or organised group entries will be accepted.
  12. Entrants should ensure that they have the permission of anyone who appears in their photograph.
  13. If an entry has been created by more than one person, you must pick only one person to be the entrant. The Promoter will assume that this person is empowered to act and respond on behalf of all those involved in the specific submission.
  14. Entrants acknowledge that other entrants may have submitted ideas and concepts that may be similar to his/her entry, and that he/she will not be entitled to any compensation or right to negotiate with the Promoter over such matters.
  15. Entries will become the property of the Promoter (including all intellectual property rights in the entry).
  16. No responsibility is accepted for entries lost, damaged or delayed or as a result of any network, computer hardware or software failure of any kind. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
  17. Prizes will be dispatched to winners within 28 days of receipt of confirmation of address.
  18. Moderation: Entries will be disqualified if they:
    1. contain defamatory, malicious, indecent or other inappropriate content;
    2. refer to brands other than those of the Promoter;
    3. include trademarks, logos or copyrighted material not owned by you or used without the right holder’s prior written permission (including famous names, company names etc);
    4. include images of anyone who is or appears to be under the age of 25 (in order to comply with the Portman Group’s Code of Practice);
    5. include the names, likenesses, photographs, videos or similar of any individual without their express permission;
    6. represent a danger to health and safety
    7. include any link to inappropriate drinking.

  21. Winners may be required to participate in publicity arising from the promotion. Winning entries may be used by the Promoter as artwork on the Perrier-Jouët Facebook Fan Page, Twitter, instagram and Pinterest pages.
  22. The Promoter cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury suffered by any entrant entering the promotion or as a result of accepting any prize. Nothing shall exclude the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.
  23. If for any reason the Promotion is not capable of running as planned for reasons (including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion), the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any written directions given under applicable law) to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.
  24. If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which us beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these terms and conditions the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation.
  25. Winners may be asked for proof of identity.
  26. This Promotion shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
  27. The Promoter’s decision is final in all matters. No correspondence will be entered into.
  28. By taking part in this promotion all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these terms and conditions.
