I've moved on...
...to a different domain. Why, what were you thinking? The truth is, I just woke up one day and decided it's time for a change—a metamorphosis, if you will; or, in layman's terms, if Britney can shave her head, then maybe so can I? Nevertheless, it's been a rather handsome 10 years of talking to you, and thank you for putting up with all my moodswings and terrible dad jokes. Fear not! The hormonal imbalance and jokes are more terrible on CUBICLE, see you there.

Apologies if today this post landed in your RSS reader/Bloglovin’ feed and looked like one hot mess laced with crushed Viagra. Something had launched the draft for this post from the back-end without my consent and I’ve been dousing my computer with bug-spray this whole morning. At this point I’m not too sure what’s caused it, but if it’s a hacker I’d like them to get in touch because I really need some friends. We can order pizza and watch the Sex & the City? or play XBox and throw eggs at passing cars – whatever you want. Dear readers, as a general rule if you see a link that’s does not start with ‘http://parkncu.be’, please try not to click it, and if a blogpost is not accompanied by a blob of rant here + some kind of heads-up  on social media, then it’s an unauthorized post. If you could simply drop a line on Twitter or Facebook I’ll do my best to fix it (with bugspray and a mosquito nets). Although, if the background is black with ‘Di$ S1te H4Z bEEn HAckeD B1Tchez’ flashing in neon green, then most probably I’m drunk on nail polish, or my site’s been compromised and I need some wizardly assistance. Both exciting.

Shot at the Barbican Centre, which may be a perfect location to shoot theatre version of 50 Shades of Grey meets Planet of the Apes if there ever was to be one. Definitely underrated as a destination within London, this is brutalist architecture at its finest (if that’s not an oxymoron, I don’t know what is). Make sure to check out the Jean Paul Gaultier exhibition; or the Food Hall, if you’re more like me. Thank you Charlie for helping with the outfit shots!

Hey! I think your site was hacked? Was reading it in my rss reader and there are weird spam terms.

If you look, it’s in your og:description and after your stylenanda + mango similar links. Begins with “Dollars this a …”

  37. Incredible picture! The lighting makes the whole out look dramatic. I like the dress. x Romi

  38. Gorgeous flowy white look! I like the gif a lot :)

  39. I love how simple the outfit is but at the same time show elegance. And I just don’t know how you do it; taking pictures and make them look so beautiful. Like, I’ve been to Barbican alright and when I tried to take pictures of the buildings and stuff, they just looked blah. But here, they’re telling stories…

  40. Absolutely love these shots. Barbican is by far one of my favourites too, gotta love that Brutalist architecture! Off to see the JPG exhibition too soon, so exciting! Were there any outfits from The Fifth Element? It’s one of my favourite films, so I’m hoping they have one or two pieces! xx

  41. The windswept look suits you Shini. You should consider getting a personal assistant (or Abi) to follow you around with a wind machine at all times.

  42. I know but I just don’t think I can afford a wind machine right now…?

  43. The GIF is so so cool !! :)

  44. shini, these photos are so epic!!! Wish I was in HK to meet you last month or so!!! Hopefully you’ll be back in town sometime soon?

  45. Saraa

Hello Shini! I follow your blog from many years :) and i love it!! What are the lenses that you use more? Sorry,i know that this is a common question, but i would like to know it :)
I Like you and your photos a lot,and if you come to Italy,to Padova and Venice,I can take some beautiful photos to you :)
    Have nice day,

  46. HI Sara,

Thank you for your lovely comment – I’ve never been to Venice or Padova before, still wishing to visit one day!
Regarding lenses, I mostly use a 50mm lens with my Canon 5D Mark III – and sometimes the 24-105mm f4.0! Hope that helps a bit x

  47. I love this outfit!!! I love the wind too! Totes diggin on the blast of print from the bag and colour pop of the scarf! Lush!

  48. your pictures are the besst. love that bag!!

  49. I think that everything said made a lot of sense. However, what about
this? suppose you added a little information? I ain’t saying
your content isn’t solid, however what if you added a post title that
makes people want more? I mean Ghosts of Barbican | Park
& Cube is a little boring. You ought to peek at Yahoo’s home page and note how they create post
titles to grab viewers interested. You might add a video or a related pic or two to get people interested
about everything’ve written. In my opinion, it could bring
your website a little bit more interesting.

  50. I’m so happy to have found your blog and now i can’t help but check it every now and again. Your images are just to die for!!! You have such style and class – so much so that i wouldn’t be surprised to see you in magazines being featured as one of the “best dressed” fashionistas in the online world. Hope you can take the time to view our online store. I really do believe that StyleCloset carries many of the clothing styles that matches your sophisticated and charming persona. cheers! :)

  51. Such a beautiful structure! You look lovely as always, Shini. And adore the animated gif!

  52. perfection…

  53. Your gif is very eye catching, it’s like marilyn monroe with her dress, but you with the shawl. Love it! :D

  54. earnestine

You look so beautiful and gorgeous in this white skirt.

  55. Wow, I never thought Barbican had changed so much, haven’t been there in ages!
Gorgeous pictures, outfit and I love your heels and bag. Lovely!
