I've moved on...
...to a different domain. Why, what were you thinking? The truth is, I just woke up one day and decided it's time for a change—a metamorphosis, if you will; or, in layman's terms, if Britney can shave her head, then maybe so can I? Nevertheless, it's been a rather handsome 10 years of talking to you, and thank you for putting up with all my moodswings and terrible dad jokes. Fear not! The hormonal imbalance and jokes are more terrible on CUBICLE, see you there.

That’s it, I’m relabelling these allergy pills to ‘Bank Holiday pill‘ or ‘the chill pill‘. Seeing how I was either K.O in any lodgeable corner or delirious when ‘awake’, they may come to use when I truly do need to BE INCONVENIENTLY SLEEPY THE ENTIRE DAY. I don’t think I realised just how heavy my head was till today, that and the number of corners one can sleep in in the flat (windowsill…). Worst thing is that the allergy pills did no deallergizing, or anti-histamining, or whatever the verb may be. Curse you, cheap pills! Anyway, thought I’d do something a little different with the outfit post/Uniqlooks. I’d put it in a jQuery slide but now I’m just entering my umpteenth sleep cycle of the day and I must oblige. Goodbyez.

  14. I’ve never seen a ‘how to wear…’ executed in such a charming and creative way! You’re seriously just very, very awesome, haha. And oh gosh, poor you! I was once instructed to take Benadryl (another allergy med) by my doctor, and I literally felt like a puddle that day. I hope you can find some non-drowsy pills!

This is fantastic! Where’s your sheep sweater from? I couldn’t find anywhere saying where it was from, though I may have missed it.

  20. I am obsessed with the way you put this together. The words and such are beyond aesthetically pleasing.

  21. I am so surprised you haven’t been snatched up by a design agency yet. I am jealous of your personal aesthetic skillz and would hire you in a hot second. Great eye as usual. Awesome layout.

  31. lovely! :D the “scientific” approach is really entertaining! :D

  32. This is such an adorable post with such thoughtful graphics. It looks like it’s straight out of one of those cutesy Korean/Japanese/Chinese advertisements! Very sharp and adorable! Also, love the shoes–they’re like a femme version of the oxford and they’re definitely a playful twist on an old classic!

  33. Vicki

Love the post, such a cute outfit!

  34. you look wonderful and I love that first top you’re wearing.

  35. I often find ‘how to’ posts a little pretentious but this one’s so fun! Really like all the visuals in this post & your tiny weather graphics. Schweet shoes too.

  36. This is great, I’ve never thought about the way I create my looks. I asuume they just appear in my mind when I’m sleeping. :)) But, seriously- what you show is the best way to create a complete outfit in a second. And the way you look is amazing, simple, not too many details, but still very unique. I love it. :)

    Polka dot.

  37. I love this post. Very informative. ;) It seems so easy, to get dressed in the mornig, but we all know it’s not. I, personally, need all the help I can get, and I’m hoping for more “turorials” like this one. :)

  38. Gorgeous! Love it :) Have a great day! XO Raspberry & Rouge

Perfect! What a lovely and beautiful post! Very delicate!

I am a little worried about your ankles though.

A friend of mine got frostburns on his ankles! FROSTBURNS!
It was -20 and snowy, though.

But I am just saying. There’s only like a 34 degree difference from your climate right now.

  41. Love this post…..the overall outfit is fab x

  42. keep it coming~!

  43. Absolutely brill. Love this a lot – and the format is just stellar!

  46. This is such a fun cool post… I love it. I am so looking forward to reading what you put out over the summer!
    Take care.

  47. I really enjoyed this post! Love that it’s not just decriptions of ‘this + this + this’ – you added in your own comments as well. This is what I enjoy about your blog shini and what sets you apart from everyone else :)

  48. sonny

hope there’ll be more of this how to wear posts . love it! simple yet very clever

  49. This was such a fun post to view! :D I love this concept of going through the steps of how you put an outfit together. Thanks for putting it together and sharing with all of us!

  50. Whatever these pills are doing to you… the creative outcome is quite wonderful. And you do look like you mean serious business putting the outfit together (plus I love the little digs at British weather. It’s like 30 degrees everywhere, and here????!?)

  51. uwielbiam Cię! ;>

  52. Shini, this post is just fantastic. I’m not a serial post commenter, but I just had to let you know how witty and informative this new feature is. Love the weather icons, the minimal but humorous design…the whole thing. I hope you’ll be doing more of these!

  53. This is SO amazingly adorable. I want to do it myself now! Or at least try my version of that outfit. :)

  54. This is the dopest thing I’ve seen in a long time on a blog. I was actually so giddy with excited that I was shouting up and down and clapping my hands saying “I love this! This is so dope! I love this”, repeatedly. I’m glad no one was home though, or else they wouldn’t have gotten my excited. Oh joy. Nice post, again x

  55. I love this post! You always have the most creative and refined posts. Can’t wait to see more of these posts!!

  56. Freakin’ awesome! (And seriously, I always wonder how people come up with outfits… clearly it involves putting legs through pants and heads through neckholes, but you know what i mean!) I would love it if you did this every now and then, but this probably took a while?

On another note, I hope you feel better soon! As for allergy pills, I recommend loratidine (it’s generic Claritin), but it might go under another name in the UK.

  57. hahahahha

  64. Hi Shini – I know it’s besides the point but I really really love your hair!!!!
Wish I had wavy long thick hair like yours.

  65. This is a genius concept, I’ve always found it hard to pair trousers like that with outerwear without looking huge from top to toe, but you’ve managed it here. :)

  66. You make it look so easy!

  80. Haha! This gem of a post has just further shown me how talented, cool and and creative you are!! I really hope there are more for me to find after this. And yes, I am a creeper who is slowly making her way through your massive archive one post at a time haha. And it has totally paid off!!

This has totally inspired me to try my hand at editing my photos and thinking outside the box. :D I am guessing there is only so far Paint can take you… haha
