I feel like a big part of the process of becoming an adult, is the ability to brutally edit down some very broad choices in life to an easily digestible-yet-not-so-round number of three. How many little pigs? Three. Musketeers? Three (not sure if those particular ones are life choices…). How many people in a priest, a minister and a rabbi joke? My point is, three is a catchy number, and that’s the number of takeaways I can find in my past 7-days Deliveroo log, and number of words in one of my favourite phrases: Just get naked. (Or I’m lovin’ it)

I’ve spent most of my 20’s leasing space in the beauty pouch to what would now be collectively a sizeable lipstick assortment, which, if laid side-by-side and compared, would simply divide into three categories: the everyday, classic red, and the pizazz. As shown above. The dark purple gothy glittery number doesn’t even make it into the bag.

So this is a story we shot during PFW, celebrating Bobbi Brown’s new Luxe Lip collection as one of the digital ambassadors, and also an semi-official dubbing of the three colour categories that I’ve nailed down and can now move onto my next ‘three favourites’, in the grand path of becoming an adult.

    Hey Shini,

    I love the way you layer your outfits. I’ve been thinking that for a while now whenever I see you posts on Instagram or Fashiolista. It could be said about almost any of your outfits, but these ones in particular work beautifully with the lipsticks. I personally prefer a nude look, like Charlotte Tilbury’s Matte Revolution in Birkin Brown, I’d totally recommend the range, but I’m glad I’ve discovered these Bobbi Brown ones here. I love her products so will probably try to get my hands on this soon. And you look gorgeous in these photos, as per.

    Three is the number of kisses we exchange when meeting friends here (being the Netherlands). Nirvana, The Police and the Beastie Boys were three-man bands, Muse still has three members. You’re right, Shini, the universe wants to tell us something!
    That said, I can’t make up my mind which lipstick color is my fave. Three is still too many options for my indecisiveness ;-)
    However, my favorite outfit in this post is the all-white look, without a doubt. Sooo sleek and fabulous, especially with those shoes!

    Red is my everyday! To the point when I don’t wear ir to work people ask me if something’s wrong ;)
    My pizazz is a darker, burgundy colour and for dating nights I use a nude so the bf doesn’t complain too much. My corals, oranges and pinks are kind of abandoned…
